Medium size tree growing to 12 meters high. The leaves look like curved flattened stalks and are up to 20 cm long. The yellow flowers grow on short spikes. The fruit is a twisted pod. A native of Australia, it was recently introduced in the Philippines, where it is planted as a shade tree and for reforestation.
