Guyabano





Guyabano, Soursop

A small tree that reaches a height of 6 m. The leaves are smooth and shiny and measure up to 20 cm. The flowers are yellow green and grow on the branches. The fruit is fleshy, juicy, covered with soft pickles and up to 18 cm long, with many black seeds. A native of tropical America, it was introduced to the Philippines for its edible fruit and is widely planted in gardens.
