Indian tree

Small tree that grows to a height of 15 m, with a high and narrow shape. The leaves are up to 30 cm long. The flowers are greenish white and the fruit is ovoid, black and shiny, 2 cm long. A native of India and Sri Lanka, it was recently introduced to the Philippines and has become so popular that it is now widely cultivated thoughout the country. It is functional as a high fence, but somewhat useless at a shade tree.
